Born in Damascus, Syria where I had my Bachelor degree of Business Administration in the university of Damascus (faculty of economics) and a Master degree (MSc.) in banking and financial sciences (the Arab Academy "Damascus" 2008); I worked in the ministry of Telecommunication between 2000-2005 in the IT department then participated in establishing the telecom regulatory authority and worked there as an acting-manager in the licensing and market study department till 2010, afterwards I worked in the banking sector where I started in Syria International Islamic Bank as a credit review and control supervisor 2011-2014 then as a credit control and review acting-manager for Cham Bank for the period 2014-2015, that's all before moving to Erbil in September 2015 to work in academic lecturing since 01/09/2015 where I am combing my academic background with my professional experience to lecture about several subjects in the field of finance and banking in several educational institutions in Erbil."

My Teaching philosophy is :

To ensure that students learn the fundamental content of the courses I teach, my objectives as a university teacher are as follows:

(a) To foster critical thinking skills

(b) To facilitate the acquisition of lifelong learning skills

(c) To help students develop problem-solving strategies

(d) To prepare students to function as highly skilled.

 

Furthermore, my overall teaching philosophy is based on two principles, which are supported extensively in the literature:

 

(a) Active student learning strongly influences student-learning outcomes

 

(b) Assessment procedures strongly influence student acquisition of knowledge.
